Escape...to a Paradise State of Mind!

Stress: It’s almost everywhere around us. People cut each other off in traffic, argue, cut in lines at the supermarket, all because some people are wound a little too tightly.

As an "escape artist," Loren's art inspires and encourages people to escape from whatever is bringing stress and distress to their lives - jobs, traffic, rude people and frightening headlines - by sharing visions of life as it could be, sitting on a warm beach with a cold drink, even if only in their imagination. Seen from this perspective, the problems of the moment don't seem as important or worrisome anymore.

Now available, Loren's newest album goes to the heart of what "escape art" and Trop Rock are all about. The songs on this album take everyday challenges such as relationship problems, difficult days at work, and stressful traffic and show how a bit of "tropical attitude" can help you to cope while still having fun.

Loren Davidson has brought his musical "escape art" to locations as diverse as the deck of the 139' Schooner America and a Las Vegas casino hotel. Inspired by the likes of Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Jim Morrison, Lord Buckley, and Steeleye Span, he creates songs that are both story and celebration. He is a musical artist and balladeer, whose melodic voice and inspiring lyrics create and deliver songs across the spectrum from wistful to rowdy.

As well as regular appearances at venues throughout the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area, Loren has performed in other places including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Nashville, and Key West.
