What is a Loren Davidson performance like? It's palm trees and parrots and the occasional beach toy, parasol drinks and partying, Mardi Gras all year 'round. It's a chance to hang out with friends old and new, and make believe you're all on vacation together. It's a fun combination of original music and cover tunes, most of which would sound right at home at a Jimmy Buffett concert. Solo Concerts - The best way to experience my music.

July 25-27, I'm not scheduled to perform, but I'll be partying with Parrotheads from across the west at Migration, running all weekend at the Hooters Casino and Hotel in flashy Las Vegas, NV. Track me down and say hi. Fri Aug 1, 7-9 PM: CD Release Party 1, Orchard Valley Coffee, 349 E. Campbell Ave., Campbell CA. Not only will this be my first show after releasing my new CD, Every Day's a Holiday, but it will be an almost all-originals show! I'll be digging somewhat deeper into my personal repertoire for this show, definitely recording it and maybe doing video as well. Come on out for a one-of-a-kind evening! Sat Aug 2, 9 AM-1 PM: Castro Valley Farmers Market; Castro Valley BART parking lot, Castro Valley CA. Come on down for the fresh produce; stay for the music! Wed Aug 27, 7-9 PM: Wine Affairs, 1435 The Alameda, San Jose CA. This is a really interesting place - dozens of different wines "on tap" for tasting. They also have microbrew beers and a menu of various foods including tapas. Fri Aug 29, 7 PM: Vapor, Saratoga Gaming and Raceway, Saratoga NY. My first East Coast solo show, near my old hometown of Schenectady, courtesy of members of the Albany Academy Class of 1972. Sun Aug 31, 2-6 PM: With Jimmy Pirate and Pirate Dreams at the National Chicken Wing Festival, Buffalo NY. Jimmy was gracious enough to invite me out to share his stage with him at this nationally-promoted festival. I'm excited about this one! New dates and shows are being added all the time! The Bistro, 1001 B St., Hayward, I play there about once a month or so on occasional Mondays McGrath's Open Mic, McGrath's Pub, 1539 Lincoln Ave., Alameda - Singer/songwriter nights are Tuesdays; I play there about once a month or so. Mission City Coffee Roasting Co., 2221 Alameda, Santa Clara - South Bay Folks open mike every Thursday night; I show up occasionally.
